Glare

A participatory photographic component of The Apprehension exhibition, produced while in residency in Riversdale, Saskatoon and hosted by PAVED Arts. Visitors to the space were invited to have their portraits taken while lit by a number of candles equal to their ages. As each participant was given the same exposure time, the brightness of each person's image is relative to his or her individual age. The photographs were then compiled into a bookwork.
